So, most of your stuff is post Apollo Justice? Okay then, I'll just start working on Trials and Tribulations first thing tomorrow! Hopefully I'll be able to catch up soon! :D
And yes, Gumshoe in just about any pairing would be simply TOO DAMN CUTE. ♥ And I just realized, if you're thinking about yaoi conventions, I totally wrote him up there as the uke in BOTH pairings with him, haha... then again, he DOES seem to be kind of a pushover, hee. XD (He'd definitely bend over quite willingly for Edgeworth at the least, LOL. >D I definitely can't wait for that spinoff prosecutor game with the two of them that Capcom's planned! :D)
As for the people complaining about Nick/Miles being "overdone"... eh, I can understand their situation, having been enamored with underappreciated pairings as well (a certain Mazoku Lord comes to mind... :P), but at the same time I've realized that... well, firstly, complaints over pairings get you nowhere. Also, that usually the most popular couples for any series are the ones that have the most material to go on, and since Nick and Miles' relationship IS pretty much the central point of focus for these first two games, then it's only natural that people would focus on them. So, if those folks want more of other pairings, then they should work on promoting the good things about their pet pairings more... without bagging on the popular ones, of course - that has a tendency to backfire and develop a negative view of that group of fans. (I still remember how much the rabid Zel/Lina fans left a bad taste in my mouth because of how often they'd diss Amelia. A lot of the Zel/Xelloss fans [which I still include myself as part of!] weren't much better, either.)
Anyway... to sum up, Nick/Miles = AWESOME (I LOVE how Nick was acting all like some jilted lover with the whole "don't mention Miles ever/I never wanted to see you again!" bit, LMAO. XD). Gumshoe pairings = JUST AS AWESOME. Three-way between those three = PRICELESS. >D
And yeah... I think if I keep going on the next games, I might find more material for het pairings, but for the first two games they seem a bit... complicated. Still open to good stories for 'em, though!

I totally forgot to discuss yuri pairings in that analysis! ^^; (Poor, poor yuri, so often overlooked... :O) I think the reason for that is the fact that most of the prominent women in the first two games are related, and the relationships have been too truly "family"-like for me to go and perv 'em up with teh pr0nz. But, your idea for a Franziska/Maya pairing sounds fascinating (and hilariously scary! XD). Does your basis for it have anything to do with that time Maya was wondering if Franziska had anything in common with her due to their having the same age (I think the scene was something like she was somewhat in awe that Franziska had seemed to do "so much more than her" while she just slacked on mystic training and ate burgers, or something... crap, I already forgot how that scene went, MY MIND IS A SIEVE! :O), or is it just a crack!interest? XD
I haven't been around the PW meme at all (due to the fact that I'm so behind everyone in playing these games, and I want to avoid spoilers as much as possible), but I had an inkling about Gant being the FANDOM RAPIST due to some joke comments I used to see in a pal's LJ who had another pal who I think played Gant in an RP... and often these comments were of the "let's molest Wrighto" kind, LMAO. So... yeah, not totally surprised you'd tell me this, hahaha! XD
