Still got that cold, but I'm much better. My throat doesn't hurt anymore, but sometimes it gets this nagging little itch that makes me cough constantly even when there's no phlegm to hack up, and it's annoying when I'm trying to sleep.

Mmm, let's say that word again - phlegm. Tasty.

Don't you just love it when I have nothing better to do but try to gross out?


Anyway, today's random thought is something I've asked a few friends in private already, but wanted others' opinion on:

Would all the Snape fangirls kill me if I told them that I thought that Alan Rickman REALLY looks like a fabulous aging drag queen when he's playing that role?

I sincerely mean it as a compliment, though - I like drag queens. :D

I'm now taking an antibiotic (Amoxillin) my parents and I have taken in the past when we've had bad throat infections, since that weird little itch that provokes the continuous coughing hasn't quit its nagging yet. Hopefully it'll kill what the Thera-Flu couldn't take care of.

Anyway, I just hope this crap's over soon - I don't want to be sick in August when shinkuu comes visit the island. ^^;

*giggles* I have NO idea what exactly is it about Alan Rickman in that particular role - I've seen pictures of him out of Snape regalia, and he isn't really a very fem-looking guy at all. (I don't even consider him quite as attractive as some of his fans regard him to be, though he does have some interesting/distinctive facial features that have a certain attractiveness about them.)

However, when he's being that particular character, I just get this strong urge to run after him and go "Honey, come here for a minute and let me try this eyeshadow and mascara on you."

I blame the stylish robes. And the hair. And the fact that he's quite obviously wearing eyeliner.

So what do you think - would a feather boa work on movie!Snape? It'd probably have to be black, given his choice of attire. Or maybe that green color that represents the Slytherin house. Maybe we should get that dude from the second book/movie (The one tviokh calls in one of her old icons a "poncy git"... umm, Lockhart? I still need to see/read anything other than the first film, which I saw on HBO by pure chance.) to give him some fashion tips. :D
