I know it's already Jan. 2 here, but I just wanted to let you all know that I hope you guys had an awesome welcome into the New Year, and that good things will come your way, for all of you. :)

I... uh, don't really have any resolutions (never make any) or other stuff to talk about (I'm still at 5/1 in P4 and haven't had the chance to play it or anything else in several days, haha! ^^;; I'll be working on rectifying that matter soon, though! :P), so I guess I'll leave things at that, eheh... ^^;;

Anyway, Happy New Year to you all! :D

redconverse, I got your card in the mail yesterday! (Monday, that is) And I think the snowman's looking at the birds in order to forget the trauma the pug's causing him with his "indecent" pawing, haha! XD Nah, seriously, it's actually a rather nice card, despite all your claims that they were the cheapo-bin stuff. Or maybe I just have no taste. XD Don't answer that, peanut gallery! Anyway, thanks a lot, you're awesome! *HUG* ^o^ (And aww, don't worry about the present, I'm just happy to be in your thoughts! Also, remember that I'm totally rooting for ya and think you'll make a kickass nurse when you graduate! ♥)

Also, shinkuu, I got your package in earlier today! (Or yesterday, since it's nearly 2:00 AM now. :P) The wrapping is really pretty, and I've been a good girl and kept myself from opening it until Chrstmas. Thanks in advance for whatever it is! :D



Additionally... er, wow, it's been four weeks since my last post? Eep, getting careless again! :O My time has kinda been eaten up with the usual offline errands and appointments, and whatever free time I have after that has mostly been taken up by playing either Chrono Trigger DS (Which, despite being a basic port with a few extras, is still as awesome a game as I remember... even though I do find it a bit easier in the challenge level than what I remembered it being as a teenager. Maybe the new dungeons will be more of a match for me, whenever I get around to them, heh...) or Persona 4.

Persona 4... well, I'm woefully, WOEFULLY behind certain people on my friends list here and on JournalFen (You know who you all are. :P), partly because I've always been a slow-as-molasses gamer and partly because right now I'm level/Persona-slutting and money- and weapon/armor material-farming to see if I can tackle the first optional boss fight early on, so... yeah, I'm laughably still only at 5/1 in the game's calendar, hahaha. XD

Still, it's looking like a really neat game thus far! Some small thoughts on the events thus far:

...aaaaaaaaaaand I think we're done, for the time being! As I said, the game shows plenty of promise, so I'll try to make another game log soon enough. :)

I know most of you are probably sleeping at this hour, but I just wanted to wish y'all a Merry Christmas! Hope you guys have a wonderful time once you wake up in the morning!

As for me, I'm a little sleepy (It's 3:00 AM here as of this writing.) but fine. Got some nice cards from some of y'all, and some very lovely presents from a couple of you (As well as from my parents. I'll save listing the total haul until the rest of the holidays and my birthday goes by, though, heh. XD), and even though I already thanked each of you individually for them all, I just wanted to say: Thanks again! You are all awesome! ♥

Anyway, gotta go sleep now. Again, Merry Christmas! :D

Aww, shinkuu, it was sweet of you to get me FFXII and all, but I already had it - I even posted about it in a previous entry! I guess it just hasn't been your year in guessing at gifts for me. ^^;;;

However, not to worry! I got the salespeople at the Babbage's in the mall to exchange it, no questions asked, so everything's fine!

So, after doing that, I came away with new loot:

- Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin for the DS.
- A copy of Okami of my very own!
- I also went to Suncoast and exchanged that extra copy of Robot Chicken I mentioned in the last entry, and came away with a widescreen edition of Lady in the Water.

So, everything's worked out swimmingly. Yay! Thank you again, Shroomy! *hug* I hope you're enjoying your gifts too! :D

redconverse and shinkuu, I mailed out your packages today as promised! I'm a little scared about any abuse your package might receive on its way there, Red, as all they gave me was this flimsy-looking bag-type envelope to mail your box in. Hopefully the box itself is sturdy enough to make the trip! And if not, I put insurance on the thing, so hopefully there won't be a problem, eheh. ^^;

But anyway, hope you both enjoy what I sent! :D


I also picked up Twilight Princess while I was at the mall. I decided to stick with the GC edition, as I can't really justify blowing $250 on the Wii just for this game. I did that with the Super NES and the PS1, and while I don't regret making those decisions back then, as they both turned out to be awesome machines, now I'm a little more economically conservative, so I'll wait until more games come out before I make my choice on whether to get it or not. But man, was I tempted. Nintendo made a shrewd move in making the Wii edition of the game come out earlier than the GC's - not everyone has the patience to wait it out. I know I almost didn't. ^^;

Also, while I was there, I dropped by Suncoast and bought Season 1 of Robot Chicken and vol. 1 of the new Hellsing OVA - it's supposedly going to be more faithful to the manga, so it'll probably be awesome (and hopefully funny - the Hellsing manga's got this sense of humor about itself that the original TV series didn't have, which was kinda sad).

Anyway, that's it for today! Now, to wait for dad to relinquish control of the living room TV so I can watch Anime Network (I was surprised to discover about a week back that we get it on our cable, and it's been Happy Happy Joy Joy for me since then. :D) for a bit. Later, y'all!

Thanksgiving went by without a hitch. We delivered turkey, stuffing, and potato salad to one of my uncles as well as to a friend of my mom's earlier, and just now I've had my own fill of turkey (And stuffing. I don't like potato salad, so I didn't have that.). Mom and I also polished off a whole bottle of wine by ourseleves, so now I'm feeling slightly lightheaded. Wheeeeeeee~

Anyway, I hope that everyone who celebrates Thanksgiving on my flist had a good time, and everyone who doesn't had a great day as well. :D

Now, to vegetate in front of the TV for a while. Yay!
