(PS: And before anyone asks - nah, don't worry about me, guys. The written word just makes me sound a pissier person than what I actually am - not to mention that if you ever want to see me genuinely, violently, scarily ANGRY, it's not likely going to be about something regarding the Internet. Unless it happens to be something involving seriously personal levels for either me or any of my very closest friends, at least.)

Man, it seems like every time I visit the MSR (I did defriend it recently, but only cuz it was taking up too much room on my friends page and I was too lazy to fiddle with groups, really!) or such similar communities, I'm just reminded of why I want to make a "we love bad fanfiction" comm sometime. It's true, I love bad fanfiction! But making fun of it is fun too. More than anything, people really do just need to lighten up...

I'd certainly go for a "we love badfic" icon. Or something that said "we mock out of love" or maybe something making an analogy of how badfic is to us like the bad movies featured on MST3K were to Joel/Mike and the 'bots. :D

*ROFLMAO* That would be the most amazing claim to fame EVER. (But there were at least two-three wanks posted after mine before the problems started, so maybe it was one of those instead. XD)

And I got errors pages everywhere too - even the main page, which was displaying part of the HTML code and stuff. Anyway, I tried looking around, but there's no real details on what happened, other than ZorroRojo having warned about possible bugginess (http://www.journalfen.net/users/system/11189.html) prior to the incident over on the "system" account. So I'm guessing it must've been one of those attempted upgrades to the service. :\

Anyway, it works again now as of this post.

Man, this makes me wish I actually had a JournalFen account. Or that I could vicariously live through Alice's, which she stubbornly refuses to let me mooch off of. Sigh.

Well, Alice should have 15 codes free, given that she's an Early Adopter like me. You just go to the page that generates 'em and you're set.

I've actually been thinking of letting Gaav have a "backup" copy of his LJ there, just as I've been considering making backup copies of all my fandom-related entries (which is like, most of 'em ^^;) there, such as the anime elitism rant.

Besides, I can get 15 more codes that way. >D




(I'd probably advise against putzing about too much, though - some people might react very weirdly to you once they figured out the nature of your... uh, friendship with Alice. But then again, you probably realize that already. ^^;;)

Oh, I know there would be problems if people found out; we're having problems offline right now for the same reason. But Alice really wastes her JF account. There's all this beautiful wank to snark at, and she just lurks! What's the fun in that?
