Suikoden V first impressions.

I'm only two hours in, but part of it was just wasted flipping through the game menus, so it's only like, an hour of actual gamage. ^^;

Anyway:

-The Prince is fairly cute, even if a bit too pretty for my usual tastes.
-Arshtat is clearly nutters. She's beautiful, though.
-Ferid is all kinds of HOMINA HOMINA HOMINA HOTT. :D~~~~~~~~~~~~ And it was funny to see how Arshtat suddenly snapped to her senses when he showed up, hee.
-Georg seems pretty nifty, and is also pretty hot himself.
-I know they were going for cute and innocent with Lymsleia, but she came off as a bit too damn clingy for my taste. It's just a first impression, though - we'll just have to wait and see.
-Kyle's (the blond Queen's Knight) pretty amusing. Hope we'll get to see more of him.

And that's about it for now.

Arshtat is awesome, and her and Ferid's love is just so sweeetttttt... it makes me GUSH like how Flik and Odessa make me gush. >D;

Lym is... well, I have a feeling her ideal man is pretty much her brother without being her brother. @.@

Kyle = Vik's star. =3 He spouts some of the most perverse lines I've seen outside of a Shadow Hearts game. >D;;;;

Yup. In fact, there's a certain point that's pretty much a shameless plug connecting Kyle with Vik. It's pretty funny. Even if that colour isn't quite striking on Kyle...

I didn't mind the Prince, I just kept telling myself 'Queendom! Queendom!'.

Arshtat is all like 'HOLY SHIT BOOBIES' to me. But yeah, beautiful is a good way to put it.

Ferid's a total badass.

Be careful with Georg in boss fights or against anyone that uses magic. He takes magic damage like a little bitch. ;_; And there's no Pesmerga there to be all like 'RAWR INVINCIBLE' about it this time.

Lymsleia annoyed the hell out of me. Seemed like a whiny little girl throughout the game.

Kyle got a fair amount of party use up until other stars came along (Cathari and Killey namely).

It's all about Zerase (the chick in black robes).

Later in the game, when you recruit Richard, use him. He looks all innocent and boyish, but JESUS CHRIST THE KID IS A FUCKING MONSTER! 1376 damage on a critical hit!
