Tales of the Abyss - more (brief) thoughts.

- Ahahahah, Tear clung to Guy in revenge for him teasing Luke about her. Guy's spazzing in terror was FANTASTIC. XD

- Also, am laughing my ass off at some of these battle comments. Like the one where Luke is like "These guys are SO annoying!" (regarding the monsters) and Jade takes a swipe at him with "Familiar territory, I see" (paraphrasing here, of course). Oh, Jade. XD

- Also also, I hadn't noticed until ruaki changed her JournalFen's layout, but Jade has a Pac-Man belt buckle. Haha, go Namco. XD


...and I notice that I'm using the "XD" smiley a lot here. But seriously, there's no better way to convey my glee than that, hee.

Put Guy in an all girl party and fight a few battles and watch what happens...

Haha, I'll have to keep that in mind for when I have the rest of the girls recruited. *evil* >D


And yes! Namco is insane--they always put silly little cameos in the Tales of games. Watch out for some others beyond Pac-man as well~

I don't know how many of them I'd recognize, save for Symphonia and Xenosaga, but I'll keep an eye out for them anyhow. XD


And Jade cosplay! Yes! Someone needs to do it. Hell, there needs to be a group of Abyss cosplayers, period. :D

There's some REALLY old games (Tower of Druaga has to be a cameo in like, every single Namco game, EVER, it seems), but there'll be Xenosaga and Symphonia and Katamari... there's even Tekken, and of course, Pac-man, and Klonoa... and even others I didn't really recognize right away...

Well, I can point to Japanese cosplay... I think someone did a 'on the fly' Jade cosplay at the Namco Tales of boards...

And hey, you weren't kidding about the girls being evil to Guy. I still haven't gotten far enough in the game to get Natalia, but I did get Anise just now, and she and Tear were at the end of a battle (paraphrasing here):

Tear: "Impressive!"
Anise: "Awesome, so that's how a woman-hater does it!"
Guy: "Hey, you don't have to put it like THAT!"

Haha, poor Guy, he just can't win. XD
