Oh, and while I'm still looking at Amazon... LOL I just KNEW someone was going to have a Jack Thompson-style shitfit over the Evoker in P3 eventually. So demons in a game are ok, but symbolically shooting yourself in the head with a fake gun isn't? Total hilarity, man. XD

Fortunately, the commenters reacting to his review have all been mocking him thus far. XD

I do think that Atlus got off with only incoherent fanboy-whineypants frothing (at least so far) because they pretty much fly under the radar of Jack Thompson think-of-the-children types. If Nintendo, Microsoft, Sony, or Rockstar (who are always super-classy) announced a game with a similar plot device or game mechanism, the level of public outrage would be ridiculous.

But it's not as if the story doesn't go to great pains to emphasize that Evokers Are Not Real Guns, and that most of the characters kind of freak out about the very thought of putting something that looks so much like a gun to their heads. So, probably not meant to be pro-suicide propaganda for the kids, even before we get to the fact that it's rated Mature.

But most importantly, I agree with Ichigo in the comments there: They seriously made a new Rambo movie? Ugh.

Yeah, I wasn't expecting there to be much frothing at the mouth from such a niche title as Shin Megami Tensei either, but what little we've gotten from this guy is still comedy gold. Especially when the commenters start poking fun at the other items he's reviewed/has on his wishlist. XD

It would be really damn funny (And maybe a little scary, because then ZOMG he's actually looking at stuff that isn't mainstream titles!!!!11one :O) if Thompson found out about it, though.
