Sick leave?

Oh man, I feel like total shit today. After like well over a year (maybe two) of not having gotten sick, I've gone and caught a naughty little cold. And it's one of those that take over your throat by first making it sore, then making you cough your brains out into even further soreness and loss of your voice, until you're finally blessedly too numb to care anymore.

Granted, it's not some major illness, but I still motherfucking HATE dealing with sore throats whenever I catch cold. I'll take a stuffy nose over the inability to swallow anything without pain anyday.

Thankfully, mom found some Thera-Flu about a half hour ago (Thanks mom, for actually knowing where all the shite in this house is at.), and that seems to have calmed things down a little (I still cough up phlegm constantly, just that I don't feel the pain that comes along with it as much anymore.). Maybe now I can fucking REST for a while, which I haven't been able to do ever since I said "bye" to Mongy and Arcy in chat, and r00 on regular IM. ><

Anyway, that preliminary review for the AtL: Twilight of the Spirits game I started typing up yesterday might have to wait one more day. I just want some rest right now. Bleah. x.x

Aw, poor Ruru-bunny... I guess it's good to get this illness out of the way now, before it could potentially spring up later? It's like jury duty, in that sense! Maybe you'll be safe for another year!
