Ack, I forgot!

I kept meaning to pimp Irk's Gaav/Xel Smut Week.5 like I said I would, and now there's only TODAY to go. Kept getting distracted by chat nonsense all these days. Eep, sorry! ;_;

Anyway, for the curious, there's some lovely pictures to be found if you check irksnapple's other LJ entries. Though I definitely think that arcian's humble contribution is the grand winner of the lot. >D

And while we're on the subject of pimpage, I want to point out to those of you who have JournalFen accounts a community arcian made a month or so back that y'all might be interested in checking out: Oh That Funny Badfic! As the name implies, it's for sharing the love and the (oft unintentional) hilarity that is bad fanfiction. XD



Oh yeah, and I noticed I've got a few new people who've added me. *waves* Uh... hi, I hope I'm not too boring! What brought you here, if I may ask? I'm always curious about that. ^^

You kidding me? That's still like my OTP of Slayers OTPs, man! *_*

Well, in the romantic sense, that is. Lei Magnus-Shabranigdo x Gaav, Zelas x Gaav, and Gaav x Xelloss (and just about anyone else you could pair with Gaav) are pretty much a sexual thing for me, and -in my mental "timeline"- would happen during time frames in which Val wasn't around or they hadn't hooked up yet (or it'd be an AU in which he wasn't present/his role was very different). Plus it's made for cheap but amusing gag fodder for my LJ parody of him. XD

So, uh, yeah. Gaav x Val for pr0n = not OTP, but for actual relationship = definitely very, VERY OTP. There's just no one more dear to my Gaav-muse's heart. ^^

PS: Funny you should be bringing this up to me now - ever since you brought up that Xelloss mini-wank in JournalFen the other week (which I've been meaning to reply to, but keep putting off since I wanted to do some lookups first ^^;), I've actually picked up and resumed attempting to outline/flesh out this Gaav x Val multipart idea I started making notes on last year, and hadn't touched since then. I've even jotted down some rough bits of dialogue/narration for one of the later scenarios in a notebook during some of the breaks at work (Considering I have no previous fic-writing experience, I'm slow and lazy as hell, and those breaks are either just 5 or 10 minutes, I consider this nothing short of miraculous. ^^;;).

I'm currently moving the old notes (which were on a private journal in Diaryland) to an LJ account, and will probably try typing up what's in my notebook this weekend. Dunno if you're interested in looking at them and giving me your opinion, but if you are, lemme know. ^.^;

Sadly, I haven't typed up the new notes like I had planned to - despite the fun online cheering me up somewhat, I've been overall feeling low this weekend. --;; But the two old entries from Diaryland pertaining to the fic idea in question are already there - you can browse that for now if you want. ^^

...would this person mug me if I said that not only do I have all the same doujin she has, but I have all the books (save one) she has on her wishlist, as well as a couple of others? ^_^;

(I haven't collected any new Slayers doujin of any genre in a long while, but now that I look at this list, I'm like... damn, I actually have more Val-centric books than I thought. ^^;)
