Hmm, some kids from the Inmaculada School next to this building left for a field trip just a while ago. 1 less day of bland junior high-school lectures = yay, so I hope they have fun. Even if the bus rides tend to be hell (especially since they have no air conditioner in those things :P).

So yes, I actually woke up early today (5:00 AM, to be precise. O_O). Then again, I had slept so little the day before, I had to call it quits real early, not long after I got home from the therapist (and lunch afterwards). I did manage to get a little gaming in before going out like a light, and did the boss fight in Wonderland (the boss killed me the first time, but then I found an attack strategy that worked, so... :D), the whole Olympus Colisseum scenario (which is short, but you'll be going back there several times later on if you want to participate in the tournaments), and reached Tarzan's world. Anyway, a few random thoughts for those:

-Man, the Olympus Colisseum part was a bit rough, probably due to the fact that
a)you have to fight several rounds in a row without breaks, and hope you get to Cloud as healthy as possible (and hopefully with lots of Potions still in stock on all three charas) and
b)my characters don't level particularly fast (due to the choices I made in the beginning of the game - at least I didn't get the "slow" levelling speed, or I'd be toast ^^;), which adds to the challenge. I lost the fight with Cloud (wow, he moves fast!), and it took me two tries to beat Cerberus - again, I had to get used to the attack patterns. The key points to this scenario - stop at Traverse Town before heading here and BUY LOTS OF POTION (and an Ether or two if you can spare it). And BUY MORE THAN WHAT YOU THINK YOU'LL NEED, because you WILL likely need it (luckily, I had actually gone and done that, since I had found the Wonderland boss challenging enough already, and figured it could only get worse ^^;). Besides, if you do that, you'll save yourself a trip back to Traverse Town to buy more before going to Tarzan's world.

-I just KNOW I'm gonna have fun with the Tarzan scenario. Not only because it has such cool music (w00t, "Having a Wild Time" is actually one of the FIGHTING themes!), and because Tarzan walks like the gorillas do (man, now I want to see what the actual movie was like XD), but because Donald and Sora had an argument and are like, not talking much to each other at the moment (because they're both stubborn - so cute! *was a Donald fan since childhood, can you tell? ^^*). Yay plot development! I won't say more about it so I won't spoil it for y'all, but I'll just say that it's at this point that you KNOW the alliance between Sora, Goofy, and Donald is going to turn into a wonderful friendship. Yup, just because of that. XD

-I forgot to mention this in the previous entry, but the explanation on how to travel between worlds is hilarious. As y'all probably know, it's by use of Gummi Ships. However, I was expecting something like a sailboat, not..... a spaceship. YES, a SPACESHIP. MADE OF GUMMI. And when you travel between worlds (which are like planets on the map), you get to pilot the thing, and IT TURNS INTO A MINI-SHOOTER GAME (obstacles, enemy ships to shoot/dodge, power-ups to pick up, the whole deal!). And you can remodel/tweak your ship with
a)all the different special Gummi Blocks you collect either during gummi-ship travel or within the different worlds you visit, and
b)with blueprints that let you build other ship models (I haven't tried upgrading/customizing my ship yet, but I think it may be somewhat relevant later on.).
I just want to say to whichever person in the development team was primarily responsible for this whole concept of Gummi Travel: You are truly, truly insane. You are right up there with Kunihiko Ikuhara for crackheadedness. I love you.

That's it for now. Off to play some more (not to mention escape the heat coming into the living room at the moment), hopefully will be back later.

Well, what do we have here, a poster I've never met? Hello. ^^

Anyway, sadly, I haven't unlocked the cup match with Sephiroth yet (wound up starting a new game right after I finished Neverland in the old one, go fig), so I'm not sure how they pronounce it. Personally, I pronounce it the way I would read it in Spanish, which sounds like "se-FEE-ros," more or less (Yeah, more or less like how the choir pronounced it in his final battle music in FF7.). And given the fact that they've thus far pronounced names like Yuffie the way the Japanese (and us Latinos - I've noticed that save for the L and R issue, our phonetical pronunciation is for the most part very alike) would, I think there's a good chance his might be pronounced that way, too.

How'd you find my diary, btw? Just curious here, since you're the first total stranger I've had visit. ^^

*LOL* Ah, I see. I guess the world shall never know.

How's it pronounced in Hebrew, anyway?

Interesting pronunciation. ^^ *goes off to mumble "Sep-hur-ott! Sep-HUR-ott! HUR. HURR!" to herself* XD

And yeah, I remember reading that it was a reference to the Kaballah... they were these spheres from this tree-like diagram, if I remember the picture I saw right. Forgot the exact meaning to them, though.

Updated just a little bit ago with a few more random KH comments, btw. Nothing much, though, as I don't want to be too spoilerific, plus I couldn't think of much to say this time. ^^;
