Mom and I finally got new cell phones today. Mine's a red RAZR, which aside from being very sleek and sexah, makes a contribution to the Global Fund to Fight AIDS in Africa. Pretty AND goes to a good cause, however small the contribution may be, yay! :D

My phone number's still the same, though, so no worries or hassles there. Then again, I think the only one of you guys who ever had my number is shinkuu when he made his trip here, so I guess there's no point to this, eheh. ^^;

But... but... phone pretty! Just needed to share that. ^_^;

hi, i see you are listed as a moderator of WTF_INC,
i am just wondering why the community has a guideline against personal attacks on it, and none of the maintainers maintain this. There are quite a few people who seem to spam the comments comletely with nothing but flames and troll posts.

Well, I'm not the best person to ask, as I only tend to handle memberships rather than the entries themselves, but I can tell you this:

First off, there's a difference between a rule and a guideline - the first is what's enforced, the second is a suggestion of what's the proper thing to do. So, while we encourage people to play nice, they still ultimately don't owe you anything in that department.

Also, mantaining control over a community of over 5500 members with only 6 moderators isn't simple, for any of us. We have other things to do aside from checking the community - we can't keep track of every single thread that arises from each post all the time.

However, there is one thing you can do to help: If there's a member being particularly troublesome, document it (keep a log of links to threads in different entries or something like that), then come to us with the proof that this person is an offender. We've had other people contact us with proof of particularly nasty flamewars/trollings in the past - these, after examined, have been dealt with accordingly. We couldn't have done it without the help of those concerned folks, though.
